This is the website for the Liphook Social Club Food Bank.
Our aim is to provide support and encouragement to all those in Liphook who are experiencing severe financial difficulties during this period of lockdown.
The initiative is lead by Nicky Dean from the Social Club and supported by Rev Valentine Inglis-Jones, Charlotte Patrick and other volunteers from St Mary’s Bramshott & Liphook Church. Be assured that we have set up a process for sourcing the food, encouraging people to attend the food bank – and, also, suitable financial processes.
Gifts of Food
We would gratefully accept all items of non-perishable food and toiletries, household cleaning products, pet food and baby supplies. Please bring them to the Liphook Social Club between 10am to 12am on either Tuesday or Friday. There is now a box at the Liphook Co-Op for food donations. (Please note that items donated in the food bank box at Sainsburys will go to Borden and Headley Down food banks). If you need to speak to someone, please call 07871 287 295.
Gifts of Money
We would be extremely grateful for your kind donation – thank you so much. All money donated will go directly to the purchasing of supplies and be accounted for by our treasurer.
If possible, it would be great if you could please donate electronically by credit or debit card, using the link below.
However, if you are unable to, please send or deliver a cheque to the Church Office, making them payable to “Bramshott and Liphook PCC” and mark the envelope as “Food Bank Donation”.
If you wish to pay via Bank Transfer please email treasurer@Liphookchurch.co.uk for the details of the account to which it should be paid. Please head your email “Food Bank Donation”
